TOMMY LEE: 'Over-The-Top' Behavior AT PENTHOUSE Party
January 21, 2003The following item appeared in today's edition of the New York Daily News:
Rocker Tommy Lee managed to offend the people from Penthouse magazine during a party at B.B. King's on Saturday night.
The self-proclaimed "bonehead" was the musical guest, and during his performance, he demanded that the Penthouse Pets and select female audience members take off their shirts. When the gals were slow to respond to the invitation, Lee grabbed someone's top and tried to tug it off himself.
Surprisingly — for a Penthouse crowd — the move was met with boos. Changing strategies, Lee pulled out a video camera (doesn't he always seem to have one handy?) and filmed the women's chests. The images were projected on overhead screens, accompanied by a lewd caption. That, not surprisingly, drew cheers from the mostly male audience.
A flustered Pet was later overheard saying, "I'm not paid to take my shirt off. If he wants to see me naked, he can buy an issue of the magazine."
